·­» My Pre – natal Visits «­·

I started visiting my doctor during my 2nd month of pregnancy. On my first visit, my doctor ask my medical history, & also checked my weighed and blood pressure. And also checked my baby’s heart beat.

Same questions on my 2nd and 3rd visits. But on my 3rd visit They have to check my urine and blood test is done, for them to know if i had a bacteria on urine and to see my blood sugar levels, protein levels, and to check if i had a low Iron levels.

My doctor also advised me to eat foods which is rich in protein, meat/fish/fruit and veg is a must. And also taking vitamins, folic acid for baby’s brain & spinal cord development and milk (anmum) or caltrate which is rich in calcium.

My 4th visit is on Aug 21, Hopefully I am still healthy and wala problema..

1st Month

After the sperm and egg combined, your newly created baby began a process of cell division that could rightly be called “explosive.” In these first four weeks, before some women even realize they are pregnant, your baby has begun to develop everything it needs to survive until birth. The fertilized egg will create your baby, the placenta, the amniotic sac and the amniotic fluid.

The creation of your baby begins before he is even attached to your uterine lining. As the egg divides and grows, cells begin to be specialized. Approximately 10 days after fertilization, your baby implants in the uterus. The lungs, heart and spinal cord begin to form. By the third week of life your baby ’s heart is already pumping blood on its own.

1. Missed Period

        Pregnancy is the 1st thing that we  think when out period is delayed, but it doest mean you’re already pregnant. Here are the common reasons that you missed your period:

  •  
    • Stress
    • Illness
    • Change in Schedules – this can throw off you body clock.
    • Change in Meditations – be sure to talk to your M.D. about the side effect of a particular med. 
    • Being Overweight – carrying around too much weight can hormonally shift your cycles and even stop them.

11. Montgomery’s Tubercules – a small goose bumo like raised areas on the areola of the breats.
